If you came to my page, then you must be interested in knowing a bit about me. I'm super quirky, geeky, a super hot mess but most importantly of all, sassafrassy. Yes. You will see. It's my word, and yes, I know it's misspelled, but your face. Yeah.
I started working at The Edge back in May of '99 as a MeterMaid. If you remember that or remember me, you are officially old. Congrats. I worked as part of the airstaff up until '06, when I left my beloved Tulsa to follow a boy. Needless to say, I came back home, but it has taken me until now to get back home, and to ditch said boy (although he's short, you'd think I coulda out walked him)...really home. I grew up listening to The Edge and consider it an incredible gift to work at the station that the music I loved listening to, still do and I hope you will too.
Ok, so fun stuff. If ya had to speed date me, here are some random convo starters I'd throw out / facts about myself (yes, I'm
single...happily):
I’ve been on an elevator in Austin with Iggy Pop and he was wearing only one flip-flop. (Not to mention an open bottle of wine & blood on the foot sans flip-flop.)
I have practiced the art of Riverdance and used to preform in a local dance troupe. (No... I will not show you.)
I was home schooled from 4th – 10th grade. (Maybe I should have mentioned that first)
My favorite movie of all time is Real Genius. I even have a pair of “authentic” bunny slippers.
My grandfather was the founding president of Tulsa Junior College. (No, I didn’t get a free ride.)
I bred pedigreed show rabbits as a kid and had about 25 that I called my “pets". (I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way.)
