The Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show is among the nation's top recreational events in attendance and square footage. With 445,000 square feet of exhibit space, the show ranks as the nation's fifth largest according to the Consumer Travel Agency.

The Marine Retailers Association of America ranks the Tulsa show in the top 10 in the nation for attendance. It is also the largest single and longest running event held in Tulsa, with the exception of the State Fair.

WHEN: Monday through Sunday, January 30 to February 5, 2012. Hours are Monday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. during Preview Night; Tuesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

FEATURES AND HIGHLIGHTS

SPECIAL PREVIEW NIGHT: Monday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Preview night tickets are $20 each. Discount coupons worth $7 off are available at participating dealers.

SMAGE BROTHERS: Fresh off of their appearances on NBC's America's Got Talent, see the Smage Brothers perform amazing riding tricks. Performance times: Monday: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday: 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

SWAMP PEOPLE: Holy alligators! Straight from the Louisiana Bayou, meet Trapper Joe and Trigger Tommy from History Channel's SWAMP PEOPLE. Meet and greet times: Friday 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

ADOPT-A-PET: Find a new family member! Meet dogs and cats in need of a good home that are up for adoption from The Humane Society of Tulsa. Applications to adopt and donations will be taken at the show.

WING-A-THON WING-EATING CONTEST: Meet the Hooters Girls at the second annual Wing-A-Thon wing-eating contest on Sunday. Hungry contestants will compete for a chance to win a new TV just in time for the Super Bowl!

FAMILY FUN SPLASH ZONE: Kids are sure to love the paddle boats and Water Walkerz at the Family Fun Splash Zone! Come out, have fun and support the Tulsa Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the world's largest, non-profit, non-governmental funder of Type 1 diabetes research. On Tuesday, February 7th, participating McDonald’s in Northeast Oklahoma and the greater Tulsa area will raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa during Day of Love.

Z-104.5 The EDGE and Derek LIVE at the McDonald's at 31st & Memorial on Tuesday, February 7th from 11am - 1pm.

 50 cents from every Hamburger and Cheeseburger sold between 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at participating McDonald’s on Tuesday, February 7th will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tulsa.

There are 75 McDonald’s locations participating in Day of Love, including all Tulsa metro locations and Northeast Oklahoma from Okmulgee to Stroud to Vinita!

For more than 10 years, participating McDonald’s have hosted Day of Love. This year’s event is on Tuesday, February 7th from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Day of Love raises funds for the Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa, a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill or injured children being treated in Tulsa hospitals.

To participate in Day of Love just stop by McDonald’s and get a hamburger or cheeseburger. 50 cents from every hamburger and cheeseburger sold will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa.

The Day of Love has already raised nearly $659,000 over the past 10 years for the Ronald McDonald House, and the goal is to reach $1 million in the next few years.
